Better...but today is going to be great!
Well 9th inning heroics erased a promising lead by the Twins. They were up 5-0 for most of the game, but the pesky Dodgers kept pecking away, and eventually won 6-5 . UNBELIEVABLE! But, I did win 2 out of my 5 bets - not great, but progress.

Why is today great?
Because I'm going to the Cardinal baseball game tonight in person! My son's HS band (The Spirit of Northwest Marching Band) is going to play the National Anthem at the game tonight, so that is pretty cool. He will be playing the clarinet for tonight, and at 6'9" I'll be able to spot him no matter what! Plus our seats are down the right field foul pole at field level, so you can't rule out the possibility of catching a home-run ball. A little tougher to see the Jumbo-tron from there, but that's okay. It has been raining here today (which we need after the long heat wave), but hopefully by game time it will just be cloudy.
And another reason why today is great
Just read a post for a Virtual Sports Bar opening on Steemit Aug 2nd. A really neat idea, and hope they have success. I'll be joining in preparation for the upcoming NFL season. Should be a lot of fun, so check it out.
