The 2018 NFL Draft is almost here and we want to take a look at some of the best players that will be hearing their names called in the first round. Today we want to focus on some wide receivers. Next let’s take a look at Christian Kirk out of Texas A&M. Kirk is leaving school one year early to enter the draft.
The 5’11 wide receiver was one of the most explosive players in the country. He burst onto the scene back in 2015 and made an immediate impact as a freshman. Kirk would catch 80 passes in his first year for 1,009 yards. He would score 7 touchdowns and it was clear that he would be headed to the pros someday.
The sophomore year for Kirk was another great season. Kirk caught 83 balls for 928 yards and would score 9 touchdowns. He would put up similar numbers last year as a junior and his decision was simple….To enter the 2018 NFL Draft.
Christian Kirk will be an exciting addition to whichever team drafts him. He may also be called upon in special teams and I won’t be surprised to see him returning punts or running back kick offs. Kirk’s speed can also be used in reverses to keep the defense on their toes. He has all of the tools to have a long and productive NFL career.
