I always think it's funny they call it the "Large" hadron collider. It's the ONLY hadron collider. It could be called the itsy-bitsy hardon collider. Now I am wondering about the "compact" moun solenoid. Is there an non-compact? Sub-compact? Luxury moun solenoid? CERN is really, really cool when G+ launched hangouts, I pulled my oldest out of school for the first CERN hangout....6 or 7 years later and he is all about science.
