Social media make us more like zombies, what do you think it is true or not?

We are not humans as we are used to be, we don't feel that much, we don't smile that much, we don't express that much in short we don't live that much as we used to do. We are more like robots or zombies, a feelingless subjects who move on quickly no matter what is happening around us, we just pass it and move on. No matter what big trauma we faced, we just move on and live our life as a normal person in just few days.
Why?
It is a reality whether you agree or not but it is. Social media impacts our life on a larger scale.

Lets take a small example of this zombie thing. We all use Facebook right, we also scrolling our walls down and down to see memes, news updates and entertainment posts. On every picture there are option of like and now we also have a option of emoticons. For instance a tragic news pop up while you are scrolling that "many children dies because of this this", what will you do?
You just make a cry face emoticon and scroll down. Do you really feel pain over the news? Do you cry? Do you ever lose your sleep for it? You didn't because you are sitting there with your neutral expressions and just scrolling down and suddenly you see a funny post and you give a laughing emoji there also with a neutral expression, do you actually laugh that much? Conciously or unconciously you are playing with your own feelings like one minute happy and one minute sad but in reality you are neither happy nor sad, you are just emotionless who is not effected by anything whether someone is dying or opening thier eyes for the first time in this world.

The reason is social media make us so used to of these situations that now it has no effect on us, we just move on quickly no matter what is happening around us whether someone is dying of bomb blast or anything we just passed it. Try to think that we are humans and not robots we should feel more and more for the people, over the disasters, with the expressions not with emojis.

We are eaten up by social media, we are not giving time to each other, we are walking but we are talking on phones, we are making memories but only in pictures, we are interacting but only on whatsapp, we are smiling but only with emojis, we are eating but only on instagram. Just take your phone down for a minute and see around you, you will observe many things which you never observe before especially the person who is sitting infront or beside you.
