The Product:
JCW-MS optimizes and stimulates the biological water medium, to help increase already existing natural processes that are essential to waste water treatment systems.
JCW-MS is designed to stimulate both anaerobic and aerobic waste water treatment processes, reducing BOD, COD, TSS, FOG, H2S and etc.
JCW-MS is biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-corrosive, non-irritating and does not require PPE.
Technology
System enhancement can be achieved at daily dosage rates of 1 ppm-10ppm per daily inflow, applications ranging from aquaculture to municipal & industrial waste water treatment.
JCW-MS is a proprietary "next generation" biological water medium stimulant, which can reduce operation costs in a wide range of wastewater treatment processes.
Conditions
We have a 3 cell facultative lagoon serving a town of about 1100 people.
- Cell 1 is 15.86 acres.
- Cell 2 is 4.24 acres.
- Cell 3 is 1.81 acres.
- Daily influent is approximately 150,000 gallons per day (0.15MGD).
Split between 2 lines with manholes on the lagoon berm.- We are equipped with a chlorine bleach disinfection / NH3 (ammonia) removal system.
- Daily influent is approximately 150,000 gallons per day (0.15MGD).
We have not discharged since the end of June, 2018.
- We are experiencing a drought.
South Influent
In June the south influent manhole was so full of FOG (Fats, Oil & Grease) we could not test for TSS (Total Suspended Solids). It has cleared somewhat since then, but is still about 1/2 covered with FOG and solids.
- We have started adding 1 gallon of JCW-MS to this manhole, daily.
1/2 in morning and 1/2 in late afternoon.
Primary Cell
Green algae, floating solids and a little bit of duckweed.
Some bubbles were observed in the morning.
Cell 2
Green algae, floating solids and a little bit of duckweed.
Some bubbles were observed in the morning.
Noted a bit of FOG scum covering about 10% of the surface.
- We have started adding 1/2 gallon of JCW-MS to this cell, daily.
1 quart morning and late afternoon.- Adding at the concrete structure for piping going from the primary cell to cell 2.
- Adding at the concrete structure for piping going from the primary cell to cell 2.
Cell 3
Green algae, floating solids and a little bit of duckweed.
Noted a bit of FOG scum covering about 25% of the surface.
- We have started adding 1/2 gallon of JCW-MS to this cell, daily.
1 quart morning and late afternoon.- Adding it at the old effluent concrete structure.
- Adding it at the old effluent concrete structure.
60 day trial
We are doing a 60 day trial, to see if there are any noticeable changes.
Abbreviations
BOD = Biochemical Oxygen Demand
