Be A Part Of Music History! If you never heard of the "P-Funk" ( not our famous infamous Hive account@pfunk ), you don't know what Funk & Soul really means and how it feels. My closest friend Nina is booking George Clinton and The Parliament Funkadelic for a while now.

I have highest respect for her work because its not that easy to handle such a big band of heavy duty boyzzz.

George Clinton (born July 22, 1941) is an American singer, songwriter, bandleader, and record producer. He was the principal architect of P-Funk and the mastermind of the bands Parliament and Funkadelic during the 1970s and early 1980s. George Clinton: 'Ain't no funk in the Trump'

Speaking of "One Nation," Clinton said, "That's the holy grail of the funk. It's ... our anthem and that binding force." It's also a song Clinton thinks President Trump's administration should add to its playlist. "Ain't no funk in the Trump," Clinton said. "You can't be that against everything and everybody and be funky -- that's hard to do. He needs to go to a good funk concert a few times. He'd probably change his mind about a lot of things. I'm going to send him a copy of 'One Nation Under a Groove' -- maybe that'll help." Source

Recording both as Parliament and Funkadelic, George Clinton revolutionized R&B during the ’70s, twisting soul music into funk by adding influences from several late-’60s acid heroes: Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, and Sly Stone. The Parliament/Funkadelicmachine ruled black music during the ’70s, capturing over 40 R&B hit singles (including three number ones) and recording three platinum albums.

We played 70's Funk up and down and all around and it was my way of being a rebel growing up in conservative Austria. I had an afro and huge hoops and don't even ask what clothes came with it. Bellbottoms, crochet tops and flower power jumpsuits.
