Steemwars Day 4: ColorChallenge TuesdayOrange | Effetre 591422 Opaque Orange

For the next three days #steemwars are invading the #colorchallenge invented by Hive account@kalemandra. This is something that I actually want to try and do more regularly but I guess I needed a kick up the bum for it.

A few years ago I used to work with Italian "soft" glass this type of glass melts easily in the flame but isn't as resistant to thermal changes.

But it had a huge array of colours to choose from, beautiful opaque colours that really stood out and one of them was this gorgeous orange.

I used 591422 Opaque Orange alongside 591276 Opaque Dark Ivory to make this focal bead, wrapping some of the ivory in silver foil I drew a line around the bead before creating a swirl in it and adding dots of the opposite colour to each side.

The final bead looks like a sunset over the beach thanks to the addition of a barnacle like murrini cluster.
