(Throwback) Its being awhile I did not posted anything at all due to few event. Here's throwback the Miniatures Trees Workshop held on 15th Dec 2018. It was the first time this kind of workshop organized in Kota Kinabalu.
With my continuos spreading the awareness of Scale Model Art, I introduced the 'diorama' category. These will be more focus on building beautiful scenic bases for the past miniatures (human figures) painted.
As preparation for the workshop, I've home made 4 colors flocks as tree leaf using saw dust. These to be included for those who joined. And I've made a tree for reference.
On that day of workshop, I was surprised with the age of people who joined. These was well accepted even by near senior age people. To them its something fresh and new. And they said these should be taught in school!! So at the beginning stage - branches making, they were are having some difficulty because they were planning on how to make it. After I told them:
"Don't think and don't plan, just let it go and do it. Tree are all naturally and no standards."
So after that everything became extremely fast and everybody came out something new and different.
Once the branches done, leaf will be stick on using adhesive spray mount. And here's all their creation.
It was truly a wonderful experienced. Everybody were so happy with their creation. And to my surprise, it attracted so many people at the cafe. They all came asked for next workshop date. Well, that's would be arrange of cause.
