The horizon is brighter than my future on Steemit.
Every author's safe haven. At least it works for me.
This is where I hide from civilization. This is my wayout. I visit the place once in a month and it is always worth it. The oxygen here is fresh, the atmosphere always peaceful. People are kind and hospitable and nobody is ever in a rush around here. Stress is absent.
The view is stunning and breathtaking. Silence dominates the area, having replaced unpleasant city noises with alleviating natural sounds that can provide peace of mind and tranquility. An author's safe haven is an understatement; this place can revive your spirit.
I regularly need to escape civilization and hide in the mountains. My business forces me to live in the city, an exhausting process which inspires me to work even harder in order to manage to run away and never come back one day. Suffering can be a great motivator I guess.
We've somehow accomplished to exclude nature's presence from our cities nowadays. Inevitably, it is taking its toll on our physical and mental health. I can feel the vibes of nature and its healing properties. I can feel connection to the mountains and the trees. Just like I can feel being drained dry, situated for long in the cement jungle.
Electricity wires provide energy for devices in a city that absorbs its people's energy in order to keep moving on. Just to keep making ''progress''. I suppose it's now the definition of excessively exploiting a planet's natural resources and destroying its lifeforms and their natural habitat, as a result of a constant attempt to generate a currency which can be used in order to pay for unnecessary possessions with unavailable funds. I choose to just enjoy the fresh air instead.
I hope the mountains forgive us one day. I'll be up here, recharging my spirit, dancing to the music of the forest, enjoying the star light, which by the way is a lot brighter up here. Its presence is much more vivid. I bet the stars avoid our cities as well.
I meet a better version of myself every time I arrive here and always try to use this to my advantage by creating texts. I like to call them maps. All you actually see is probably random words, but to me it's more than that. It's a cypher. It's the map of the secret path to a place of enlightenment. I managed to reach that place after years of effort and letting desires fade.
Tomorrow morning I'm publishing the way. Make sure to be there.
Thank you for your attention!
I found myself lost in Nature.
