What is Sperma?sperma in a short definition mean a male gamete....gamete is a type of s.reproduction called Anissogamy, and anissogamy is the amalgamation of two gametes, and those gametes are different in sizes and structure...
in the Anissogamy structure the smaller gamete is the male sperm cell, while the reverse is the case which is the the larger gamete is the female egg cell.....to know more about the female egg cell please CLICK ME.
The sperm cell that operate in motility is called spermatozoon, and the greek word for spermatozoon is called spermatozoa which is popularly known and called to the substitute of sperm....the spermatozoa amalgamate with an ovum[female egg cell] to form a zygote A zygote is a single cell, with a complete set of chromosomes, that normally develops into an embryo while non motile sperm cell is considered to be spermatium.
What is the function of the Sperm?
The function of the male sperm is to fuse/join with the female egg, which later form two sub-cellular structures,namely
- *The male pronucleus
- *The centrioles
What is the Origin of Sperm?
the human sperm are produced via spermatogenesis from the male manhood, generally known as gonad...the picture is the male manhood/gonad....lol dont be angry.

for sperm to fully develop in the body it takes like 70days,,which is the spermatozoon process of development.....the sperm cell of a man is carried out from a mans body as a fluid called SEMEN....
It takes five[5] days or more for the male sperm fluid which is SEMEN to survive in the female reproductive tract,
semen is created in the seminal vesicles in the prostate gland and urethral glands,,,this gland are controlled by a master gland called the PITUITARY GLAND.
