Welcome to the 25th episode of stemng's digest, a weekly series where we bring to you some of the best posts under the #stemng tag in the past week.

Today's stemng digest episode happens to be the one that precedes the stemng meet-up slated for 11th of July as shown in this blog. The meet-up promises to be as educative as fun-filled and for those that would be interested in participating, feel free to fill this form on or before Tuesday, 10th of July. For those that do not know yet, stemng is a sub-community of steemSTEM, a community-driven project which seeks to promote well-written and informative Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics posts by Nigerians on Steemit. The project involves submitting quality STEM-related posts to the steemSTEM management for upvoting and resteeming where applicable.

As we usually do, we have sifted through the stemng tag and even though there were several good posts to choose from, below are the posts that stood out for week #25.

Out with a bang as usual, Hive account@funmiakinpelu took a dive into the world of transgenderism and the series of proceduresthat those that chose to rebirth or change their sex would go through in order to be biological compartible with their chosen sex. As educative as article can be.

Tuesday: BIOTECHNOLOGY IN AGRICULTURE: THE FUTURE IS HERE

Technology has, is and will continue to play an important role in the lives of man. Its application in agriculture has taken the form of a wide variety of processes and these are well highlighted in this article by Hive account@humbledeen. A good read for everyone.

Wednesday: Don't Be Fooled And Get Killed! The Truth You Probably Don't Know About Bulletproof Glass And Its Barrier (Protection) Mechanism

If you are the type that loves 007 or related movies, this post by Hive account@eurogee would definitely be of interest to you. Whenever the word 'bullet-proof' comes up, majority would think of something that is totally impenetrable to bullets from guns. A read of this article would reorientate such belief.

Thursday : The Visible Light Communication System: Making the most out of our traditional lighting system

There is no doubt that communication has, and still taking a lot of interesting turns with advancement in science and technology. This article by Hive account@henrychidiebere discussed one of such turns in the form of visible light communication. A good read for lovers of stem articles.

Friday: Solar wonders (02) --- The sun, our star.

An understanding of the world around us would not hurt a bit, would it? Hive account@pangoli initiated a quest that seeks to simplify and enrich our understanding of the solar system. One of the series capped our selection for the week. You all can have a look.
