So during a lunch time chat with my nerdy friends about the passing of Stephen Hawking at one point we talked about the possibility of recreating Stephen Hawking.
1. To create a cloned version of Stephen Hawking without ALS.
If you have not heard of the CRISPR technology, it is a technique used in the experimental lab for genome editing. Personally I used it previously to generate experimental models where genes related to cancer are removed or modified to remove cancer mutations. So technically if the ALS gene of Stephen Hawking is repaired, a cloned version of Stephen Hawking can be re-created.
2. A Stephen Hawking AI
My suggestion during my lunch time chat was instead to create a Stephen Hawking AI. With artifical intellgence that allows machine to self learn, Stephen Hawking could have possibly have many of his thinking patterns mapped out by experts. Translating these cognitive patterns into programming rules, there could be a chance that a Stephen Hawking AI prototype already exists.
This could mean that Stephen Hawking can continue to live on, providing us answers that we have not thought about.
3. Time-traveled Stephen Hawking (?)
Under my pure speculation, Stephen Hawking himself could have unlocked the secrets to time-space readjustments. In theory, time travel is possible.
Even for all the nonsense I wrote, I hope he returns. No doubt his legacy lives on.
