We Blew Through 7500 SP Thanks To Increased Delegation/Donation From Hive account@themarkymark!

Week 17 was an outstanding week on both fronts as we surged to a record high of 7700 SP. We more than replaced our expiring long term delegations, as we not only used the SBD/Steem from our upvote, but we also had some awesome donations come in from 5 different people. In addition, we also received an additional 500 SP free delegation from Hive account@themarkymark to bring his total to support Hive account@fulltimegeek's stewards of gondor cause to 1000 SP. Impressive donation and thank you Hive account@themarkymark!

We did get all of our delegations for SP filled on the Minnow Booster market this week and they also managed to increase our SP (despite the ones that they replaced expiring). The reason is that we are getting as high as a 240 SP per steem per week rate on the new leases to replace the old ones that were done at far lower lease rates. Note: just a reminder that each week now we have to make up for what we lose each week as the older delegations roll off.

Also on the upvote side of things we did get some nice upvotes again, in particular Hive account@fulltimegeek and his bots returned with their big upvotes! While the drop in steem has reduced the value, it is still a meaningful vote that is adding and helping to replace our expiring SP. So thank you everyone for the upvotes and again to you Hive account@fulltimegeek!!! The goal is to use the votes, donations, and free delegations to continue to hold the SP line and stay ahead on our big weeks (like this one). Again on the negative side this week we saw a big drop in steem, but fortunately our vote values only dipped barely to $0.17 per post per steward (-$0.01). I would say a successful week indeed!

During the week we received 5 additional donations, as donations picked up strongly this week! This Weeks Payment On Posts Today (~$6 sbd)

Tonight we received the 17th weekly payout since the launch of this program. The payout will be equivalent to about $6 sbd (with the new payout formula, some was in steem too), and it, along with any donations will be used to initiate new leases if the rates stay so favorable. The goal will be to add more new 13 week leases to replace the expiring 13 week leases each week that come due!

We have successfully built up and stabilized our account, and now we should provide a steady and growing upvote if we continue to get your support. The goal is to give the SOG members a real benefit and with your continued efforts to support us, we will continue to build the SP and curation trail.

As mentioned earlier these new donations and earnings of sbd from posts will be reinvested to grow the SP so that the SOG members get a bigger hit to their upvote. We have now started lengthening the leases from 13 to 20 weeks depending on market opportunities.
