Still Holding 7500 SP As Steem Finally Moves Upward!

Week 18 was a solid, but uneventful week as we did hold our ground above 7500 SP and in fact held steady all week at 7700 SP. We slightly more than replaced our expiring long term delegations, as the donations and the vote balance from our weekly post was able to lease enough new SP to replace the expiring weekly leases. We didn't receive any new free leases on the week, but we did get a favorable rate of 231 SP per STEEM per week on our weekly lease. (Note: far higher than the expiring leases so our money goes a lot further these days) ;)

On the upvote side of things we did get another nice batch of upvotes again, particularly from Hive account@fulltimegeek and his very cool bots! We really appreciate the upvotes on the weekly post and again a big thank you to Hive account@fulltimegeek!!!

While the drop in steem has reduced the vote value over these last few months, it finally made an up-move this weekend with a roughly 25% surge. This could be a sign that Steem has put in a short term bottom and that would really help the SOG members (if we saw a big uptick in steem). Our vote values only dipped barely to $0.16 per post per steward (-$0.01). Overall, I would say it was a successful steady week with a splash of excitement towards the end!

During the week we received 3 more donations, as donations slowed a bit during the week. We had 3 total donations (all repeat donors), 1 from repeat non-SOG member Hive account@bashadow of 1 sbd and 2 from SOG members Hive account@howtostartablog of 3 sbd and Hive account@abh12345 who donated 1.5 STEEM total to the cause! Awesome job guys and thank you very much, they mean a lot in towards keeping our vote values strong each week!

This Weeks Payment On Posts Today (~$6 sbd)

Tonight we will receive the 18th weekly payout since the launch of this program. The payout will be equivalent to about $6 sbd (with the new payout formula, some was in steem too), and it, along with any donations will be used to initiate new leases if the rates stay so favorable. The goal will be to add more new 13 week leases to replace the expiring 13 week leases each week that come due!

We have successfully built up and stabilized our account, and now we should provide a steady and growing upvote if we continue to get your support. The goal is to give the SOG members a real benefit and with your continued efforts to support us, we will continue to build the SP and curation trail.

As mentioned earlier these new donations and earnings of sbd from posts will be reinvested to grow the SP so that the SOG members get a bigger hit to their upvote. We have now started lengthening the leases from 13 to 20 weeks depending on market opportunities.
