Advice And I'm Changing Accounts Only To Resurface Later Under A New Account To Continue To Support You All.

Right. So seeing I have effectively gotten Hjins attention with my recent post and knowing he will be sweating it after, I intend to carry on in my efforts. To ensure visibility of following post I will create another account and let you kind and good people like Hive account@fulltimegeek Hive account@lyndsaybowes or Hive account@davemccoy know both when I create my next post and when it goes out. Under no circumstances am I abandoning my efforts or any of you guys. I in fact will be busy off Steemit supporting you all by employing everything I can to see to it that Hjin is held accountable in a legal and ethical way. As I mentioned in my first post I will not engage in flagging, I will not engage in abuse, I will do my level best to help and not promote irrational or harmful behaviors in others. I will just plod forward undeterred in my support of you all.

SOMETHING TO BE AWARE OF:
So I have noticed an interesting development in regards to a new Steemit account called Hive account@special-agent. On the accounts page is a link to the FBI website. Now what I find interesting after a career of directly liasoning and working with different federal and local law enforcement agencies is this is an odd approach so I do doubt it's authenticity. But I'm reserving judgement until I can contact the FBI directly to follow up and check this out. I have never seen a line of inquiry or an investigation conducted where queries are undertaken on an open source platform where bells are rung loud by that agency in regards to the fact that they are investigating, much less using that to pursue leads or ask for information.

But as I said, until I make direct contact I harbor doubts but reserve judgement. For those of you who are engaged remember that no different than in your day to day encounters with law enforcement you reserve the right to ask for proof of identification from anyone claiming to be employed by any law enforcement agency. Impersonating a federal officer is a felony offence whether it's in cyber space or in the real world. I have known US LE agencies to extradite people from Asia to Europe over child support offences so a major felony like that would be pursued. You are supposed to follow up and contact their offices if ever you are in doubt of any person claiming to be a federal officer.

I say all of this so you all are fully informed as on Steemit and in these dealings with Hjin and his breaking multiple laws already (and he has) I do not put further criminality past him. Basically impersonating a law enforcement agency or officer for his own weird reasons would be in keeping with his character so treat it with suspicion of the behavior gives you reason to do so. My thoughts are if there is a FBI inquiry a foot they would have contacted Steemit directly in Virginia and given the fact that Steemit has previously cooperated with authorities that they would hand over relevant details.

So if there is a genuine line of inquiry or investigation being pursued in this fashion it's certainly the first time I have ever seen it done this way. If someone is posing as a federal officer then a felony is being committed on the Steemit platform and I intend to report it. However, let's say it is the case and it is a genuine one...well, I'm already pushing this angle and doing all I can to bring Hjin (the real one) to light to authorities already so I'll help where I can.
