There was a savage battle and them two ended up tired. When they took rest for some time, they saw two vultures sitting tight to eat the crushed.
So they reached a conclusion that it is smarter to abstain from battling and progressed toward becoming companions than to fall a prey to the vultures.
They moved toward becoming companions and them two drank the water and went off calmly.
MORAL OF THE STORY: So we ought not battle among ourselves.
