Part 3 - The Mausoleum
On this cold and windy day in an old house near the cemetery, we find Darius.
He is gathering his strength to rise out of bed. He didn’t want to get up. Besides, why should he in his current condition?
There isn’t even a name for it. Only the Orb will help – he’d seen this condition before but only in others.
The changing of his features the restrictions in the movement of his body.
Darius is still a brilliant man he will have to call on all his knowledge and training.
Only he alone knows the use of the orb and soon he will prove it. This is what keeps him in town.
There are so many better things he could be doing once he is back to his old self.
Pulling himself up he sits stiffly on the side of the bed, using his hands to help swing his legs over so they barely touch the floor. Being on this planet takes it toll on even the strongest of his people.
Darius stretches his arms and says out loud, “So her name is Victoria.
She needs my help and she doesn’t know it yet.”
