As those of you following the story will notice, it is slow in coming but at its own time. I was going to wait and post more of the story when more of it is written. However, I chose to go ahead and post what I have in hopes you will continue to follow Victoria and Darius's story revolving around the mausoleum.

The Mausoleum Part 7
Darius walks toward the limousine where Charles is waiting for him.
He then motions Charles over to his side while opening the door.
Charles lends support.
With tears in his eyes, Darius says, “She’s my wife, Charles. She’s my wife.”
“Did you see how beautiful she is? She has always had such lovely hair.”
“The roses were to remind her of our last time together.”
Charles, “I can’t believe she didn’t recognize you.”
Darius, “We get new forms when we return Charles.”
Charles, “Are you going to tell her?”
Darius, “I can’t it’s against the rules, they’ll know and I won’t be allowed to return.”
Charles, “Why do they have that rule?”
Darius, “I don’t know.”
Darius looks out the window, “Besides it would be too painful for her to find out. I cannot stay and this body is too old now and it won’t regenerate. I need the orb so I can go.”
Traveling down the cemetery road they finally reach the gate.
Darius leans forward and places his hand on his face.
“How could I be so stupid to think I could approach her about the orb?”
“I am not ready to let her know I need the orb. I am not even sure she has it.”
Charles, “You have no choice you are dying.”
Victoria enters her home and walks over to her writing desk and stretches the fingers to her lace gloves dropping them one at a time onto the top of the desk.
She then reaches over and picks up the mysterious box and feels it has some weight to it. After a quick inspection, she places it back on the table and begins to tear at the brown paper on it.
Once she removes all the paper she discovers an empty metal box inside with a note instructing her she will find what fits inside the box at the mausoleum. She needs to put it in this box to protect her from its energy.
Now she knows she has no choice but to check for her husband in the crypt. She has finally obtained a court order. Everything is in place and this message arrives a day before with the metal box.
Victoria feels soon she will see her love.
