The story-mentor assignment by for this week found at this link
Introduce us to a new character - one outside of your comfort zone - a magical, mystical, mythical being if you're used to writing 'real life' characters, or the opposite if you like writing about magic, mystery and myth.
Uziel the new character
Uziel a discarded entity for thousands of years finally finds his power growing. He is able to control the energy of the orb and is no longer easily pushed aside.
High people that secretly live in fear give many tributes to him. They make no attempt to stop him knowing any interference may turn his attention toward them. Besides, they figure someone needs to control the amount of use with the orb.
For now, the powers do nothing as a war wage between aliens who contain the power of the orb.
What was once a beautiful blue sky is now void of color.
The horizon is a vast void of nothingness with occasional streaks of blue lightning. Wrought iron surrounds his latest victim.
Uziel steps forward to control everyone’s energy use by catching them in-between worlds and planetary dimensions.
This tortured spirit guardian is in it for himself and will stop at nothing to make things turn out his way. He believes he knows what is best for everyone.
Now he has found the orb unattended for the first time and watches a man slowly die. He enjoys the leaching energy emitted from the orb.
The unknown man is screaming while Uziel stands perfectly still smiling absorbing all the energy filling the air.
This is the first time Uziel encounters the orb unattended and finds it freeing and doesn’t care what pain it is causing someone else. This is something he alone can control. The more the unknown man screams the more his sense of power and energy.
The man yells out before he dissolves from existence. “Why are you doing this? Why not talk to the council and get control of your own orb?”
Uziel, ‘Because they will not talk to me or even listen. It is too late for that.”
The man cries and screams at the same time, “Help me. Won’t you help me? I need help.” His body now begins to decompose. As he reaches the point of no return the intensity of pain increases and he is gone. Dust remains where once was a vital human being. It’s a very slow painful death with no chance of return.
Once dead his body is dust and the spirit is left without a shell in an instant Uziel uses the orb to move his spirit into a realm to be used for later on his bidding.
This can be used for open human receptacles looking to channel through metaphysics or drugs. This is all for Uziel’s needs to control others for his sense of power and enjoyment.
Once he brings them back they have no choice but to do his bidding or suffer the loss in-between worlds or existence.
At this time I plan on using my character description above to begin the next part in “The Mausoleum part 8”. I am currently writing it. Darius will encounter Uriel after this description. Stay tuned.
Here is The Mausoleum Part 7
Here is the end result defining this character in the story The Mausoleum Part 8
This personality is based on Christopher Walken, like in the movie, “The Prophecy” I picked this character because he scares me a bit in characters he often portrays.
The name Uziel comes from the name of an Archangel.
thanks for your direction in creating this new character.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
