When Mercury Is Retrograde Plans Made, May Go Awry
At the end of March all looked good. Nurse on Duty and a New Aide to train, for the start of April. Training takes two to three days with three hours each day of safety lessons and communication understanding with Abbi. Plus Abbis house cleaning needs. When we have both care givers caring for Abbi it opens time up for me three hours a day , five days a week.
Original Plans for this Week
Monday would be day two of training for the new aide, Tuesday training would be completed. Wednesday I would be able to go out and clean up a bit from the winter folage droppings of sticks, and leaves. Then Thursday we would go to Axillary meeting then visit the local swap meet. Friday to go back out to the yard. I had the weather working on my side according to forecast.
Good basic plan.
I am always on duty when it comes to Abbi and her care. I do this daily and when the services that help in her care cannot supply Nurses or Aides I am the only one her with her generally. The Three hours Abbi has an Aide and Nurse at the same time in the home. Is the only time I get to do something that would not be possible in less than a half hour. So I have very limited time to do tasks of my own for me. This time is called personal time, Mental renewal time, craft time, a time that could be uninterrupted for three hours to use as I want. The yard work is calling me.
Well Plans do go awry!
Monday we had news the nurse called in sick, the aides, two year old lost her car keys and she won't be in either. Tuesday nurse came yet no aide who lost her baby sitter. Wednesday the nurse called in sick the aide showed up for day two of training. I had to be the only trainer. Thursday nurse and aide both came to work. The third day of training completed yip two days late but done. Friday they both show up and they did a fantastic job.
Abbi enjoyed her easy going week.
She did as little as possible and is always hoping for more weeks where my plans go awry. Abbi Smiles! She did get some of her stuff done that helps her keep healthy. She got out on the most beautiful day of the week. We went to a local swap and shop that happens 3 times a year.
While there Abbi was hanging out visiting with my cousin. I understand that Abbi said she wants to ride a horse. My cousin has horses and maybe we can find a place to get this dream of Abbis fulfilled. I just love the things she dreams about doing.
Dreams are Grand, Real life is the best! Make the Dreams Real
Waiting until April 15th when we go out of the retrograde effect to make any big plans for life.
Love to all until next weeks update. Have a great week smiling thru it I hope.
Love
