Hi all, continuing my articles about National Icons of the World, let's learn about the national fruits of some countries of the world. It is quite interesting to note that most of my favorite fruits are the national fruits of all these countries. A point worth mentioning is Apple is the most favorite among countries and it is the national fruit of 5 countries, Austria, England, Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom. I got so frustrated that none of the countries is choosing my favorite fruit Watermelon but so interesting to see Banana is the national fruit of the Central African Republic. At least one of my favorite fruit is not forgotten.
I laugh out loud to learn that Durian made it as the national fruit for Singapore and Indonesia. Kudos to those two countries for making one of the most hateful fruits on earth for its smell to become their national fruits. Perhaps some of you are wondering how does jackfruit tastes? For those who hate Durian, you perhaps may want to avoid jackfruit. But if you ask me, as this is one of my favorite fruits, it tastes sweet and yummy :D
