Authors Note
You must have read about Williams Shakespeare, the greatest writer who wrote in the English language. Yes him, the writer of Macbeth, of Romeo and Juliet, of the greatest plays and poems ever written. The same was on Steemit; the same came unto his own but they knew him not. I now write the intriguing account of the days of William Shakespeare on Steemit.....
On January 1st 2018, while the world was welcoming a new year, William Shakespeare joined Steemit and had his account confirmed on the same day. His mission was simple, to earn as many STEEM as possible within two weeks and transfer them to the accounts provided by the two gentlemen. Based on the information Shakespeare had gathered from his new friends, he put up an #introduceyourself post, the best Steemit had seen
In the post, Shakespeare told the Steemit Community whom he was, listed the phenomenal books he had written, clarified the controversy surrounding his gender, assuring everyone that he would add great value to the Steemit blockchain. To make his post colourful, however, Shakespeare added some photos of himself, including a powerful intellectual documentary. At last, Shakespeare uploaded his post and went to bed, confident that he would cash thousands of STEEM on the next day.
On the next day, Shakespeare woke up to one of the most terrifying disappointments of his life. His #introduceyourself post, as powerful and eloquent as it was, only had $0.5 in payouts from 25 upvotes.
Shakespeare would not give up easily. So, he grabbed his pen and paper and penned a powerful love poem, a sonnet. He described the breasts of his lover, proclaiming how he would dedicate a century to the praise of each, what he called the W of life: sucked by babes and men. Shakespeare went to bed again, hoping to earn his first massive STEEM.
