I woke to the sun in the sky .
A new day of wonder and sight seeing and the smells of Chicago .
Once again the rhythm of it moves me, we move with the speed
of the crowd as if we lived here all our lives, cold but no snow.
at a pace that waits for no one. Either lead or get out of the way.
People have places to go things to do. Even though my daughter
and friend are in their teens. The kid in them expressed how
they had to see the bean in millennium Park. So on the bus
we went. Yes she is daddy’s girl and will always be.
We must have gone to four purse and jewelry shops looking
at things they both liked. My response to their comments about
not being able to afford it was if you take care of business stay focused
it’s very possible someday you’ll be in the position to get what you’re
looking at. The youth and some adults must realize that lasting
success and financial security takes time and good decisions. If it
comes to fast it won’t last.
Tomorrow will be our last full day. Then it’s back to work on my painting
SWEETS JAMMIN, framing the rest of my work for the Saint Paul Art Crawl April 27th, April 28th, April 29th
in Saint Paul MN. Working on my daughters graduation picture and teaching
Cartooning and drawing classes.
