Pekanbaru city is very hot, because the land there contains many sources of oil. when the oil evaporates upward and the sun's heat will burn it.
But, there is a unique experieunce for 7 days of being there. First, many women are clean-face and white.
Second, the polite and soft-spoken society, probably because they hold tightly to Malay culture.
There are many tourist attractions there, such as siak palace, tilapia museum, grand mosque An-nur, and others that have historical value. But it takes about 1 or 2 hours to get there if traveling from downtown Pekanbaru.
