We met the Kookaburra in this story while working at a friends' boarding kennel and cattery. Such funny and interesting birds they are and extremely carnivorous.
We met Sammy on a walk along the river in a place called Murwillimbah, in NSW, Australia. He really did manage to frighten some locals and, as he's a rather small python type, there was no great danger.
