For a Muslim, faith is everything. Faith is the most valuable asset and become the first accepted criteria or whether a charity before God. However, as is usual every valuable asset in this world, he always was in danger. Many people who lurk and want to steal it. Then, not a few people whose faith is gone, and die in a State of not having it anymore. Of course we don't want to experience it. But, how to keep your faith in order not to disappear?
In the Qur'an, the absence of faith, also called with ketersesatan (dholal). And, basically no human being misled by God, except the ones that fasiq. In other words, if man has become the fasiq, he will surely get lost. God says;
"... and, no one is misled him except those which fasiq. (That is) those who break Allah's Covenant after Covenant was steadfast, decide what God commanded (to them) to connect it, and makes damage on Earth. They the losers. " (Qs. al-Baqarah: 26-27).
According to Imam Ibn Jareer at-Tabari, the verse above shows that no one is misled except people who leave the obedience to God, unwilling to obey commands or prohibitions, and breaking the Covenant that God made with them. In Tafseer Zadul Masir stated, that between the nature of the content is infringing fasiq Qur'an, disconnects, and silaturrahim commits-sin.
It is clear that malice is a condition when a person abandon his faith, memperturutkan lust, and ignore the laws of God. That's when faith becomes brittle, and the Devils – tear it out.
Then, in the al-Fiqh al-Akbar, Imam Abu Hanifa said, "shouldn't we say that the Devils seized the heart of a servant of the faith of the believer in the forced and arbitrary. However, we say that a slave was leaving his faith so that's when the Devils – tear it out. "
In the book Ihya ' ' Ulumiddin, Imam al-Ghazali suggest that faith is very easy to falter at the beginning of its growth, especially among young children and the laity. Therefore, faith should always be strengthened. Furthermore he said,
"The way to strengthen and edify the faith is not debating skills by learning and theology (kalam science), but with (1) concern themselves read the Qur'an follows tafsirnya, (2) read the Hadith carries its meaning, and (3) concern themselves perform a variety of tasks with worship. Thus beliefs always grow solidly by the proposition and the hujjah al-Qur'an that tapped his hearing, also by the support of the hadiths, along with additional details which he found, then by the fluorescent light of worship and his duties. It is also accompanied by (4) saw the lives of the people they hang out with, Salih, pay attention to their mindless acquiescence, hear the tip-tip them, also see their behaviour in ketundukannya to God, their fear to him, as well as their stability to him."
