Today, we are going to begin the series of another story and I want you to enjoy it as well.
Once upon a time, in the village of Akamugbe, there lived a beautiful widow called Oghale. She was a mother of a twin, a boy and a girl. Her husband had died of cholera when she was just a month pregnant and so she had to take care of herself and the twins on her own.
She had no one to help her because she was an orphan brought from an unknown village as a maid to work in the village where her husband had fallen in love with her and married her.
The fact that her husband married her, made all the villagers despise her, they accused her of bringing death to her husband because she was a maid, an orphan without a family or even a reputable background.
She could not go the land where she farmed while she was pregnant to harvest the few cassava tubers because the twins were always yearning to be breastfeed. This made her grow lean and weak because she hardly had enough strength her children talk more of going to the farm to harvest her cassava.
Omagbe was a neighbor whose hut was a stone throw from Oghale's hut. She had pity on the poor widow and always helped her with food, she also bought clothes for the twins and other necessary things they needed. This she did without the knowledge of her husband because he would send her back to her parents if he found out she had been helping a poor widow whom everyone called a witch.
The twins grew up fast and turned big and strong, Oghale decided to call the boy, Oghenerukewe which means that God has done it and the girl Aghoghoogene, meaning Joy from God.
