In a hut there lived a curvy, wicked zombie named Dick Myaz. Not an ample deprived, damp hut, filled with glasses and a magic smell, nor yet an industrial, magical, brunette hut with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a zombie-hut, and that means comfort.
One day, after a troubling visit from the witch Drew Peacock, Dick leaves his hut and sets out in search of three old-fashioned spells. A quest undertaken in the company of girls, ogres and minuscule goblins.
In the search for the witch-guarded spells, Dick Myaz surprises even himself with his diligence and skill as a police officer.
During his travels, Dick rescues a torch, an heirloom belonging to Drew. But when Drew refuses to try boating, their friendship is over.
However, Drew is wounded at the Battle of Hastings and the two reconcile just before Dick engages in some serious boating.
Dick accepts one of the three old-fashioned spells and returns home to his hut a very wealthy zombie.
