"People told me I could use photography to make friends, I told them don't be silly. The Stranger Project started in June 2014, as a way for me to boost my confidence and build self-esteem. By July I had taken Photographs of 120 strangers. This has now risen to 500. When I first stared photographing strangers I would ask their name, take their photo and do a runner! Now its like I'm not actually scared of people. My camera is an ice-breaker and gives me the confidence to be myself. This project has also allowed me to network and I've gained photography jobs though doing it. This just spurs me to do more.
