there was a time
when the world,
together, wondered
if the Blue and Green
strawberries
were indeed real.
images abounded,
beautiful colors,
imaginations ran wild,
genetically modified,
or a secret strain,
and where could these
be seen.
they searched and searched
but in the end,
it was revealed,
it was the whims
of a modern master
of editing.
alas, I wish
it was true
as I would give much
to own such beauties.
