Danger From Above

Today's activities over at our parallel universe has been interesting to say the least. You couldn't make the stuff up. It had all the elements of a hit Hollywood saga, with multiple plot twists.

A platform designed for independence and freedom was taken over by a tyrant, who has since done what tyrants do. Truth be told, the danger was always there, looming from above. The warning signs were all over the place, but like this woman in the photo, we were nonchalantly, perhaps carelessly, getting on with things without addressing the elephant in the room.

I suspect it isn't over yet. For now, however, the tyrant has been defeated yet again.
