This is part of the view outside the hostel I was staying at near the Pasar Seni Transit Station in Kuala Lumpur. You see a very tiny break in traffic, and so of course a jaywalker is taking advantage of the momentary lull.
You can see the roof lines of the Stations in the rear center of the shot. Pasar Seni is a hub with a big bus station, and both the LRT and the MRT stopping here. So it was never really quiet, even in the middle of the night.
I liked this place when I was there, but now I’m near the Wangsa Maju station where I’m seeing nature and have a lot of peace outside my apartment. The views (I have many) are really pretty with big hills all around. Last might was so quiet that I felt like I was missing something! I realize now how loud the place was where I staying in Bangkok too.
Pasar Seni was a good central place to get started, but I think out here is better long term.
