EN: This photo was more of a snapshot, the composition was taken while I was approaching the woman. The ice stick at the bottom right of the photo is not copied, it was leaning against the granite. The ice stick keeps the photo in balance and guides the eye along the ice that the woman still has to remove.
What if there is no one left to do this work? How much does the woman earn for her work.
Life in Russia is very hard for most people.

DE: Dieses Foto war eher ein Schnappschuss, die Komposition entstand während ich auf die Frau zugegangen bin. Der Eis-Stock rechts unten im Foto ist nicht rein kopiert, er stand dort angelehnt am Granit. Der Eis-Stock hält das Foto gestalterisch im Gleichgewicht und führt das Auge entlang des Eises welches die Frau noch abtragen muss.
Was, wenn sich niemand mehr findet diese Arbeiten auszurichten? Wie viel verdient die Frau für ihre Arbeit.
Das Leben in Russland ist für die meisten Menschen sehr hart.
