Sardinia • Backstreet Wildflowers
While walking the backstreets in Sardinia, I came across a lot of graffiti, trash and wildflowers! That's right the plant life on the island is incredible and everything from cacti to pine trees seems to thrive in the arid rocky environment. The photos below were taken in an alleyway where nothing was cultivated but beautiful plants and flowers were plentiful!
The plants and wildflowers were shot with my iPhone 6S Plus.
This interesting plant looks like an artichoke crossed with a jade plant and was growing like weeds. I would have loved to take some home with me but of course its forbidden to bring in plants and animals from overseas.
The flower patch seemed very independent...
The plants learned to ignore the graffiti...
Some flowers were knocking at the door...
Thanks for the art ... minnows, dolphins, whales... I’m down with squid!
