The Streets of Hanoi - (24 mm / f/60 / ISO 1600)
[Nikon D50/ Tamron SP 24-135 mm f/3.5-5.6]
There are some cities on earth, where rush is everywhere. Hanoi is one of this cities. Every time I think about a twirling city, I think about Hanoi. I have never seen so much mopeds at once. Only at rainy night hours the city calms down a little bit and you can enjoy some kind of silence. Hanoi is so different from the cities we know from Europe. The live plays on the streets, nobody rests and everybody is trying to keep up his small business 24/7. A very special experience.
I had to took this shot without a tripod, so it was a real challenge. Today I can say, the Nikon D50 was not a bad camera. Please keep the high ISO value of 1600 in mind. The noise level was much more than exactable and the jpg-quality was superb. That’s why nobody cared about the 6MP resolution. But I know well about the possibilities today … .
