A sea of colorful flowers, People in traditional clothes and a joyful atmosphere, that subliminally lays over this pleasantly cool afternoon. The crowd gathered for the newly convened winter festival under the theme ‘Un Ai Rak Khlai Khwam Nao’ (Love and Warmth at Winter’s End) at the Royal Plaza on the grounds of Dusit Palace in Bangkok. Held between the 8th of February till the 11th of March, the festival consists of exhibitions and charitable activities to raise money for under-privileged people in Thailand. There are also a lot of cultural performances like an open-air cinema or fine art courses.The public is encouraged to dress in traditional Thai costumes since it's the overarching motto of the festival.
