#265 - Good day again everyone. How are you doing today? I hope we are all healthy and doing well most importantly in our physical being. We need a positive mind in order to get through the challenges of everyday living.☺️
Back to the topic which is street photography. Allow me to share some shots taken in the walled city of Manila, the walled city of Intramuros. Once a base that fought off the invading Japanese army, it is now a home to some of the famous schools and other establishments.
Here we have a father and son riding their tricycle and are waiting on the side of the road for any potential tourists that are willing to rent their ride so they can have a tour on major destinations inside the city.
My wife is walking towards my direction while two men on the left beside an old wall of a prehistoric Spanish style housing are checking their bags for their stuff. I think those two are tourists as well.
The city government made a good restoration to the floors of the roads here. They restore it using the same stones and just added cement to make the road stronger for generations to come. Two wheeler and even four wheel vehicles still experience a bumpy ride when passing streets with similar set of road.
Here we have a middle age man holding a great piece of camera. He was standing in front of a church and is also taking photos of the old Spanish era Cathedral. Behind him are two individuals who spend most of their day in front of the church as vendors. The lady sells different kinds and designs of rosaries as souvenirs. One can purchase and go to the church and have it blessed then use it during prayers. The other one is elderly man who also sells different designs of hat which you may use when riding a Kalesa or perhaps as cover from the hot sun.
Follow me on my street travels.
