#473 - Colors in the streets.
Happy Friday my dear beloved Hiveans. Finally it is also my last day of work this week and I will have the next two days as vacations or off hours. We will be going out of town tomorrow to fetch my mother-in-law who has been in a province just beside the metro for almost two weeks now. She is with her sister and both are senior citizens already, they went there on a bus last week to check on their house there which need repairs because the electrical wirings have been exposed to the elements and it need replacement. Luckily they have a cousin who is an electrician and knows a lot about wirings and how to replace them. We are going there because they will buy some fish which have been caught in the river and they need a ride and they can only carry that much with all their clothing and stuff.
Moving on to our photos for today, I am sharing these colorful street shots taken in the city of pines. This first one shows modern and old jeepneys at a terminal near the park which we frequently go to. The terminal covers one area of the road and most jeeps here are those with old design which are muscular and a rocky look. Now that there has been changes wherein modern type of jeeps are also introduced, the competition between old and new is there and the new jeeps have air-conditioning installed but it's not needed here since it's cold most of the time. But the story is different in lower lands like the metro where the temperature can get to almost 40 degrees Celsius and in that case commuters will prefer those modern jeeps with AC.
Cops riding their bikes are patrolling the city streets checking on them from time to time. They are wearing fatigue uniforms with their boots and helmet on. They just passed a stall that sells several kinds of fruits like bananas, pineapples, papayas and more.
A group of individuals or probably friends sat on the concrete pavement of the road while they take a rest after doing some rounds of the park as an early exercise. They just watch other joggers do their thing while they also have a conversation. We have also tried walking here early morning and it was cold that time that no sweat was even produced after several trips of walking.
We got here a view of one of the walkway path inside the park which is also a good spot to take photos. We have the stalls of bikes for rent on the left and a straight pathway in the middle of these tall trees which are mostly pine trees. There are several people also walking in the concrete path when the shot was taken.
Follow me on my street travels.
