...continued...
As earlier said, situations have a way of forcing us to re-strategize and think deeper, depending on how we view or see the situation. Often times we crumble under the weight of the situation and we give up. This is not to point fingers at anyone who did, because we view and feel things differently, and we all have our limits. This is just to encourage you to stay strong and view things differently. When we view things differently, then we handle situations better and get solutions quicker. Don’t forget, we are the ones that determine how long we want to be in a particular situation. The day we take steps towards it, that is one less step we need, and one step less close to the solution.
I started Steemit like every other person and those frustrating moments kicked in. We all know how it is. I can only look back now and smile, but it was a long walk getting to this point and I am still aiming higher. That is life, we always have bigger goals to keep us motivated, so we can continue living.
The upvotes were not coming, and those you feel you have a little bit of rapport with, you share your link with them and you sometimes feel you bother them too much.
I got tired of the whole thing and the situation forced me to develop a habit that I have come to love and enjoy: commenting. How? I felt, if people are not seeing my posts to at least learn from them, I can at least share my thoughts and ideas on topics that others posted in their comment section.
I left several comments which never yielded anything but my goal wasn’t to impress or get upvotes on my comment alone, but to be heard, to gain visibility. My motive has always been to help. Nothing thrills me better than helping. I love making friends, and I intend to genuinely make as many as I can because, on Steemit, there is absolutely no one you can’t learn from.
I have developed a newfound interest in several things on Steemit; arts, cryptocurrencies, etc and I am enjoying it.
I found a special interest in . They are a bundle of amazement. The way they connect with others and engage them in conversations was a delight and something worthy of emulation that I picked from.
NB: If you have not followed them yet on YouTube or Steemit, please do. They are one of the best version of human being you can come across and I mean that with every sense of understanding.
I could have given up when the frustration kicked in. I could have allowed the lack of upvote force me out of Steemit, and I know many people who actually left because of this. I tried so much to stay strong and the situation forced out in me another desire to be out there and make friends, which is the point earlier stated that how we view situations determines how long we stayed there.
If you noticed the solutions you have gotten to certain issues, and the problem before that solution came, you would have thought to yourself afterward: “*So, this isn’t as bad as I thought.”
