I was thinking of some quick tips to get rid of stress
My stress comes when I don't have a solution or a direct route to the task and problem I am facing, every time this happens I do the following and it is amazing how quickly I go from a stressful mess to completing the task in record time.
- Stop What you're doing
- Walk away from the area you're currently in
- If this is your desk just get up and go to a different location
- Chill out for a bit
- Get a pen and paper and write any question that you have about exactly the problems you're facing
- Write the first things that come to your head and then analyse them 4 minutes later
- See if those questions are towards the problem your facing
- Answer those questions
- Create specific tasks to complete whatever you're stressed about
- Relax a bit more
- Pump yourself up
- Hit each task with speed and focus till complete
- Move onto the next task.
Being stressed on a task can be a vicious circle because you will try doing something and never have an answer and waste hours at a time.
