Throughout history there have been many amazing feats of strength. I would like to learn more about these people, and also supply a recent one of my own.
In July of 2016, a truly memorable event occurred. Britain’s strongest man, Eddie “The Beast” Hall, achieved what no man in the history of the human race has been able to do. Eddie hall lifted over half a ton, (1102 lbs), in a memorable deadlift during the World Deadlift Championship.
The pressure from such a heavy weight was enough to cause bleeding out of nearly every opening in the head area, including his eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. After setting down the weight, Eddie Hall blacked out for a few seconds, falling to his knees on stage.
This is truly one of the greatest strongman feats in human history. Eddie Hall said it himself, that there is nothing more manly than putting a bunch of strong men in a room and seeing who can lift the most raw weight off the floor. This was one of Eddie Hall’s 3 life goals, and he completed his final goal during the Worlds Strongest Man in 2017, where he took home first place.
He beat another record again in the fall of 2017 where he once again lifted an astonishing weight, 536 kg (1181 lbs) from the ground, this time with the bar slightly higher at 18 inches.
