You will always assume you know some shit until you need to take a school test.
Seeing as I never actually finished my Matric, mainly because I slept through most of the year and had a double shift the last day and never went back to write finals.
Regardless, that means I am a dropout, but always considered myself not a dropped on the head.
Technically having Matric does not really matter until you want to do tertiary and even then it is more of a technicality.
However, I am going to try and get the stupid paper because it is just one more thing on a list of things to get over and rid of in my life. The rest of the things on the list mainly consist of people.
The simplest test it seems for a Matric equivalent is the US GED. This makes sense if you have ever seen these kinds of videos:
It really shivs you in the neck when you realise they likely passed this test and on my first trial test, I only scored a measly 81%.
Based on what I expect from myself this is equivalent to 40% which is dumb as a brick if I add 10 IQ points.
The other reason why I scored extremely bad subjectively is because the test I did was for Mathematical Reasoning.
I think this is equal to what we call Maths Literacy which is the lowest grade of maths you can take and was only invented to allow people to get the fuck out of school because there is no hope for them.
So by extension, I barely passed a test designed to get rid of dummies. Not even passed since this is just a practice test.
It is likely also the one I feel the most likely to pass if only by deductive reasoning.
I still need to do the Science and Literature parts and if you have read any of my posts before you would know I have no clue what a compound possessive or contraction is.
All I know about science is that Covid was a damn joke and the Gov is out to get ya.
Anyway, I needed to write a post so figured faking my way through the GED is a good enough one.
