Sunday was a beautiful day with clear blue skies and one little fish-shaped cloud.
Sparkling icy bling on the birch branches...
The Sun melted the snow on this tree and changed it into sparkling ice crystals.
Early morning sun coming through the snowladen spruce trees.
Aside from churchgoers, Sunday is like any other day here on the Island. The stores open later at noon ~ otherwise not a lot of difference.
Traffic is not bad on the highway by the house.
I didn’t spend all day Sunday staring at the fairyland created by our unexpected snowfall. Going into town it was a quiet low-key day. I did see a dog sticking his head out of a window in the vehicle ahead of me ~ looks like a black lab.
It is unreal now many dogs I see in vehicles. They love to go and wait patiently in the vehicle while their masters/mistresses go into stores.
Some sit right up in the passenger seat like a person.
