What are subliminal messages?
Firstly the word "subliminal" means "below threshold" so subliminal messages are defined as messages below the absolute threshold level (ATL).
We cannot become consciously aware of subliminal stimuli even if we look for it or put our mind into it.
How subliminal messages work ?
Subliminal messages appeal to our subconscious mind. These messages work through a process in which external sensory stimuli work to trigger reactions without us noticing the signals.
Personally, I heard about this in a Shane Dawson Youtube video which he interviewed one of the most popular youtube channel which shares content about subliminal messages. It called Mind Audio Central. They have lots of videos you can check out and they further explain the way these messages work. I tried one of them, it was the :"get green eyes subliminal " and I also want to share my results.
You can definitely see that in the second picture me eye color has changed a bit. It is a bit greenish and more hazel. I got this result after 16 days.
