In the book of James the bible says a double minded personal will accomplish nothing he is like the waves of the Ocean, tossed by the wind. Waves move all day but they are purposeless, unintentional and thus they achieve nothing.
Friends what determines your daily activities? Because whatever you will achieve in life is hidden in your daily routines. Random acts will give you nothing but frustrations.
Here is the reason why you cannot achieve anything of worth with a divided mind.
When your mind is divided is paralysed and unhealthy. It lacks focus and reason, and when this happens means you become driven by any strong external force when that force abate or when you meet a stronger force it takes over from the previous force. You will be tossed up and down, left and right, back and forth, day in and day out like a leaf or a dead fish in the ocean.
I remind you to day to be single minded in whatever you do, you will enjoy it more and you will succeed. When you leave other avenues open you do not increase you chances to succeed but you limit them as a matter of fact.
Divided mind and divided faith produce a divided person, a divided person is hopeless, unstable, frustrated and unproductive. But we can do better.
