Professor Sucharit Bhakdi, Chair of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene at the University of Mainz from 1991 to 2012 is a world-renowned professor of microbiology that does not hesitate to speak the truth. The 74 years old scientist is of Thai origin and based in Germany.
The podcast ‘TRIGGERnometry’ recently hosted professor Bhakdi to share his opinions on coronavirus.
Professor Bhakdi talked about his need to write a book ‘Corona, False Alarm? Facts and Figures (2020) concerning the way the Coronavirus measurements are taken’. Along with his wife, Karina Reiss, a biologist and biochemist, he thought that the way governments adopted the lockdown measures was wrong and ‘unbelievable’.
‘Why do you believe everything you are being told? Why don’t you sit down and read and think of it? Because if you did that, you would very quickly realise that there’s something very fishy going on’, he says.
He finds that the problem started with the definition of Covid-19. It was so complicated that nobody could know what it really is. Then SARS-CoV-2 came on and the PCR tests, which everyone knows that they can’t diagnose anything. ‘The PCR test is a lab test that may be used to support a diagnosis. (…) A real doctor doesn’t go around testing people with a test that has never been put on the market for use to diagnose a disease. It’s only there to see whether you have parts of this virus gene in your throat or your nose’. He sounds awestruck when he sees that the positive results of PCR tests label immediately the patient as a ‘Covid-19 case’. This is the term used for the disease. And it gets more confusing as coronavirus is a virus, and not a disease, co-existing with human beings from the start of mankind. Every few months, the viruses change a little bit because they mutate in order to survive. ‘So it is a completely normal thing that these viruses, which are the most ‘successful’ viruses in the world, along with the flu virus, manage to keep the host alive. In order to do this, they change a little bit so that next year they can come and visit me again otherwise my immune system would not allow their entry at all’, he explains. He agrees that the PCR test is likely to massively exaggerate the number of people who are actually suffering symptoms of Covid-19 on a criminal degree. The PCR test is imperfect, as it was not created to be continuously performed.
Why are we going to lockdowns then?
‘There is no reason for having them’.
So, the world has changed and there was no reason at all?
‘Exactly, that’s what I am trying to tell you’.
‘This virus is no more deadly than the seasonal flu and for people under 70 is even less deadly than the seasonal flu. For these ages, the chances of dying are less than 0.1 percent.
This means that 5 out of 10,000 people may die from the virus’.
Professor Bhakdi says that the WHO recently added a study in its bulletin stating that the virus is not dangerous. That means that it agrees with the result of the study and it is internationally accepted. But this is something many epidemiologists along with professor Bhakdi declared months ago.
‘The truth is that the epidemic does not exist. This global panic has made people stop thinking and lose reason. We do not need any new reality, let’s go back to the old reality’, he encourages. He also adds a very serious problem, which looms in the immediate future, ‘Life
expectancy has been going up and up and up and now it’s going to go down because the healthcare system is falling to bits’.
He suggests that we need to take care of people with dementia, cancer, or heart disease and not focus on a virus like Covid-19. The percentages of deaths from these diseases are increased and there is not enough care or love towards these patients.
What about masks? ‘Masks worn in public have never shown good results, but only bad’, he says. ‘We shouldn’t have our children or the elderly who need fresh air masked’.
Sucharit Bhakdi is not the only expert declaring this opinion. There are at least 700,000 renowned doctors who believe that this is not a pandemic and have been saying it since the beginning of the quarantine in March 2020.
‘This is not only what I am saying, but thousands and thousands of people are saying and it’s not a matter of belief. We know that people have died around the world, because of lockdown. In India, people have starved to death due to lockdowns!’.
He finishes his interview, explaining how afraid he is that there is a big possibility that the vaccine will start attacking healthy cells since we already have the antibodies in our system.
When he was asked if he would do the vaccine, he answered with humor ‘Of course not’.
He concludes with his fundamental question: How and why have all societies allowed these things to happen?
