at last 14 people were killed and more than 40 were injured in suicide bombings near Kabul International Airport in Afghanistan. Afghanistan's Vice President Rashid Dostam survived the attack for a short time. After a voluntary exile for more than a year, this attack took place within few minutes of returning home.
According to Kabul police spokesman Hasmat Stanekzhai, several international press reports that explosions happened on Sunday (July 22th) near the main entrance of the country's airport. There were supporters of Afghan Vice President Rashid Dostam waiting to congratulate him.
He also said that bomb blast was done immediately after leaving the airport by carrying Rashid Dostam Saajo.
Meanwhile, the bomb blast claimed responsibility for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) or IS
Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish said, children, civilians and security personnel were killed. He said police could identify suicide bombers.
Rashid Dostam has been living in Turkey since 2017. He is accused of human rights abuses in Afghanistan.
