Oh, I like the name of this pre-Christmas contest - "Where is the Sun?". I even love it because now we have the season with nearly no sun in the sky - at all! It is depressing (who can doubt?) when you can see only grey, overcast sky with not the only gap in it... For a sun addicted person like me this season is especially difficult.
When it happens to the sun to appear, it is very low, but it still IS THE SUN!!! In four pictures below you can see is "portraits" taken in the beginning of the month at about 1pm, will you believe?! In an hour it started getting dark, but I was happy that I saw it, I felt it and got it on my telephone!
When I came to school for my afternoon classes that day, it met me with one more gift from the sun. The staircase of our very old building got rich shadow decoration from the generous sun. Just look at the picture below.
And the last picture. I have already used one from the series for another competition but that was a different picture, not the same, so I think it is possible to present it here. From it, you can see the source which the Sun, the artist, used for its pretty shadows. Like any big artist, it can produce a masterpiece from nearly nothing!
