Tomorrow, Jews around the world will observe Tu B’Shvat, the “new year of the trees.” On this very special holiday, Jews celebrate the gift of God’s creation.
Even as these celebrations go on, something extraordinary will be happening in the heavens.
The week of Tu B’Shvat, several unique lunar phenomena will coincide: a Blood Moon, a Blue Moon, a Supermoon, and a lunar eclipse.
We may not be prophets, but we know that God reveals things to His people through signs in the heavens: “I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke” (Joel 2:30).
Is God trying to tell us something through these extraordinary events? We can only be sure if we pray…and listen.
