Ok so it's a little late for a full on April Fools but Villopoto really did take the win :) It was at the 2018 TransAm Vet Classic though and not in the Monster Energy Supercross or Lucas Oil Pro Motocross races you are more familiar with.
He does look like a rider reborn though i must admit, i mean when you look back at how serious and stressed he looked at a lot of times during his career at the top of the sport he is like a different person. He is enjoying life and as controversial as it sounds... he looks to be loving his new Yamaha 450F!
It's little surprise that he cleaned up at the 2018 TransAm Vet Classic as he is fresh into retirement and this guy was one of the fastest to ever throw a leg over a dirtbike. Arguably THE fastest... depending on who you talk to.
